Family
Therapy

Families are complex and many times complicated. Each person in a family has their own personality, views, thoughts, feelings, all of which are at least a little different from the others in the family. There are some families that have difficulties dealing with various issues of conflicting personalities, separation and/or divorce,  custody issues, financial stressors, job issues, and a litany of other problems. These issues/problems can take a toll on everyone in the family.

Family therapy can help all of the members of a family learn how to communicate their thoughts, feelings, and perspectives appropriately in order for other members of the family to hear and listen to what the first family member is saying. The listening family member(s) then can learn to listen, not just hear, what another family member is communicating without being defensive, dismissive, angry, etc.
